Uli Behringer founded his company, Behringer, in 1989 and set about developing technologically superior audio products that would challenge the establishment's best efforts to date. Behringer is now a market leader and one of the fastest growing audio companies in the world distributing their products to more than one hundred countries across all the continents with two and a half thousand employees. Behringer started in Germany but Uli quickly realised the value of moving the production operation to China keeping the design house in Germany. This allowed Behringer to offer more features on his audio equipment whilst keeping the end price down, so the consumer ended up with a high end specification whether they be a professional or the home recorder.
Behringer have put together packages that allow musicians and producers to buy complete set of equipment, for example; an amplifier and desk with speakers and stands plus all the leads and microphones etcetera. Basically everything a live band would need to get their sound from A to B and after a few pints maybe to C!
